Tetris Week in Mammutico

In the last week of September we celebrated Tetris Week at Mammutico. Every day on our social media, photos of the kits from a "bird's eye view" appeared. What is #tetrischallenge and how it was executed in our company, about it below.

When it comes to computer block games, Tetris is second to none! Inspired by the graphic design of Tetris, the Zurich police brigade, at the end of 2019, showed the contents of its patrol car (including two officers) in an overhead view. Many different institutions and companies soon took up the challenge. And since we at Mammutico love challenges, games, and of course blocks, we decided to join the fun!

In front of the lens, ready, go!

The photos were taken quite a long time, several months. It all started with the Mini series - on the occasion of a large package, with the camera attached to the tape on the ceiling and assisted by the self-timer. Well, such a small scale was possible only with our smallest blocks. To go further, it was necessary to... go waaaaay higher! Fortunately, with the help of my friend Kuba Odechowski (we recommend http://dron-film.pl/), the next three sessions went smoothly and quickly (I mean the drone flew up and down quickly, because stacking blocks is a bit of a demanding operation). Sessions with the Simple series (on a terrace), Smart (on a lawn) and Perfect (on a school playground) were created at intervals of several weeks. This change of circumstances is no accident! We wanted to ensure a variety of shots and show how many environments Mammutico bricks work well in. This search led us to the Basic session (in the living room) and Smartblock (in a garden pool). Only the Connect and Kulodrom bricks escaped our lens - we make these series less often and for specific orders. So we wanted to share with you what we already have, and we will photograph the missing sets when we get a chance.

But why?

Where did the idea for such unusual product photo sessions come from? We produce Mammutico blocks in many different shapes and sizes, and with most series you can choose from sets in several sizes. We wanted to take photos that show all the elements of our sets - so that you can easily assess their size and compare different variants. Don't know about you, but we think the job was done!
