“One must not do nothing simply because one cannot do everything”… That’s what Russian writer Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev used to say over a hundred years ago. This motto also guides the founders of the Piastów-based “MOŻESZ” association, which we love and support!
The MOŻESZ association operates in Piastów—the town where the idea for the “Mammutico” building blocks was born. So we are very close neighbors, but that’s not the only reason we decided to support their work. The association’s mission is very close to our hearts. A group of local leaders, volunteers, and educators supports initiatives and works on behalf of children and youth with disabilities. They’re doing a fantastic job, giving kids who wouldn’t otherwise be able to participate in social life a chance, encouraging them to take action, and helping them maintain their self-confidence!
“To want is to be able, love is power, and faith works wonders”—isn’t it easier to go through life with this conviction? There’s only one answer 🙂
Among the regular events co-organized by the “MOŻESZ” Association was the annual family festival featuring a charity raffle. The event was also hosted by the parish communities of Christ the King of the Universe and the “Sprawni Razem” Association from Piastów. As every year, the picnic provided the residents of Piastów with many attractions, but it also brought together children and youth with disabilities, bringing plenty of joy and a desire to be active.
We are very proud that we can participate in such a wonderful event every year. Seeing how our blocks bring joy to children with various physical and mental disabilities reaffirms our belief that our blocks are not just ordinary toys, but toys that can help. And that is what is most beautiful 🙂
