Traditional playgrounds consist mainly of fixed equipment, such as slides, merry-go-rounds, and various climbing frames. All these elements focus on developing children’s motor skills. The “Connect” set, which we are pleased to present, consists of what experts call “loose parts” and encourages children to transform their environment and create their own play space.
The “Connect” set includes a wide range of loose parts, including blocks, tubes, hexagons, cylinders, and rollers. But all these elements aren’t just loose. They have holes and shapes that fit together in a way that allows children’s ideas to take flight. A pair becomes a wall. A wall becomes a room. A room becomes a house. The interlocking pieces connect in various ways, ensuring that the engaging play never ends.
Connect Set – Unlike Any Other
The shapes of the blocks in the "Connect" set are truly unique. They are completely different from the blocks children build with every day. We’ve observed that the large size, combined with the unusual shape, is very intriguing to young users. Add to that the ability to combine them with other equally surprising elements, and you get a set that’s interesting, surprising, and engaging—in a word, perfect!
When filming the commercial for the Connect foam block set, we didn’t follow any script. All we had to do was fill the room with blocks and let the children in, and they got carried away by spontaneous play. Along with the children, their parents and grandmothers also came. You should know that the adults had just as much fun, even though we didn’t capture them in the photos we want to show you 🙂
All the structures built during this session were the result of the children’s boundless imagination. The unusual shapes didn’t make it easy for the kids to bring their standard ideas to life—like houses, bases, and cars.
