Tests and Certifications

Mammutico Foam, the material our blocks are made of, has been tested by Polish and international laboratories such as TUV Rheinland, Intertek, Sychta, and the Institute of Sport. Mammuticos meet all necessary safety standards for toys, as confirmed by the declaration of conformity included with every purchased product.

Product safety is also guaranteed by our close cooperation with the Playground Inspection Center.

MammuticoFoam™ Properties

Mammutico Foam™ is safe, highly durable, and resistant to daily use. This foam is also waterproof and dries very quickly; it does not fade in the sun; it is resistant to sand and various weather conditions; it can be cleaned with plain water, steam, mild household detergents, as well as disinfectants used in medical facilities.

All Mammutico blocks are very soft to the touch and extremely lightweight, which ensures safe use and enhances the quality and comfort of play.

  • It is very lightweight—one set weighs less than 150 g.
  • It’s easy to clean—just wipe the blocks with a damp cloth and you’re done. The material dries quickly, so they’ll be ready to play with again in no time.
  • It’s soft to the touch—the pleasant material, free of sharp edges and rough surfaces, won’t hurt the skin. The soft material bends nicely in little hands during building.
  • It’s frost-resistant – frost is no match for it. A block taken out of the freezer after 24 hours doesn’t change color or texture; it always stays the same.
  • It is sand-resistant—it has no gaps or crevices where sand could get in, so it’s perfect for outdoor play.
  • It is UV-resistant – the foam does not fade in the sun; the color of the blocks always remains the same regardless of outdoor conditions.

MammuticoFoam™ Durability

One of the key properties of the foam is its exceptional durability. The blocks can be twisted, bent, and squeezed. Each time, the foam will return to its original shape. Despite its high elasticity, the material is very dense, so you can walk and jump on it without fear of it breaking, cracking, or collapsing.

Cleaning Mammutico Foam™

“Loose components of Mammutico sets and plastic packaging (if any) can be washed with water, a mild soap solution, alcohol-based disinfectants, or a steam cleaner. A soft sponge may be used to remove stains or dirt. The use of strong cleaning agents (e.g., chlorine-based) is not recommended for the safety of children. Test the cleaning agent on a small area of the block first.”
