Customers, parents, and educators—they all ask us the same questions. We’ve compiled the most common ones in one place to help you decide whether to choose Mammutico building blocks.
Are the blocks safe for very young children?
Yes. Mammutico® blocks are made of certified Mammutico Foam™, which meets the PN-EN 71-1, 71-2, and 71-3 toy safety standards. The foam is soft, has no sharp edges, and poses no danger even when dropped from a great height. Each set undergoes rigorous testing in TÜV and Intertek laboratories.
The material is hypoallergenic—we can also recommend it for children with allergies and sensitive skin. The foam contains no phthalates, BPA, or other harmful substances.
What can children build withMammutico blocks?
Anything their imagination can come up with. In practice, we most often see:
- Houses, castles, and fortresses—classics that never fail
- Bridges, towers, and engineering structures — a test of strength and balance
- Obstacle courses and mazes — physical play that brings groups of children together
- Scenes for playing theater or shop — themed and social play
- Vehicles: cars, ships, airplanes — models for role-playing
“The best toy is one that leaves room for a child’s imagination.” — Jolanta Papuga, SI therapist
How long do they last with heavy use?
Mammutico® blocks have been used in playrooms and preschools for over 5 years—every day, by hundreds of children. The foam doesn’t crack, doesn’t permanently deform, and doesn’t fade. We guarantee 24 months, but in practice, the sets last much longer.
If any pieces get damaged, you can buy replacement parts—you don’t have to replace the whole set.
Are the blocks suitable for outdoor and water play?
Yes. The foam is water-resistant and UV-resistant. Many of our customers (pools, hotels, beaches) use the blocks outdoors. After rain, simply let them dry—they don’t lose their properties. Additionally, wet foam “sticks” to itself—children use this to create more stable structures.
How do I choose the right set?
We’ll help. Every facility has different needs—a daycare center chooses differently than a science center, and a hotel differently than a preschool. Contact our educational advisor, tell us about the group you’re buying for, and you’ll receive a tailored recommendation—without any sales hype.
