Museum of Engineering and Technology, Kraków
Creating a space for creative play and learning about urban engineering through workshops led by museum educators. The area had to be designed to accommodate both organized group activities and informal play for individual visitors.
Children aged 4–12
The project was carried out as part of a tender for an “interactive temporary exhibition” on a precisely defined topic, which required the development of a concept fully compliant with the client’s guidelines.
The workshop room is located in a freestanding building with a separate entrance, so it was necessary to organize a back-of-house area and a coatroom for visiting groups.
The museum’s narrow thematic focus required the creation of entirely new lesson plans tailored both to the subject of urban engineering and to the abilities of participants of various ages. Mammutico developed original materials that can be thematically modified for future projects.
The Creativity Zone was established as a joint project between the Museum of Municipal Engineering and Mammutico. All subcontractors were selected by Mammutico, which acted as their direct client.

The team at Mammutico developed the concept, provided four large sets of elements, prepared seven scripts, and conducted training for museum educators. The installation was carried out by the team at Mammutico in a building in Kraków’s Kazimierz district.
