Steams Lab City of the Future: Shaped by Technology and Sustainable Solutions

In today's world, cities of the future face a number of challenges, both technological and ecological. Modern metropolises need to find answers to issues of construction, networks, sustainable resource management and urban pioneering.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education is an approach that is gaining popularity among teachers and parents around the world. This combination of science and technology with arts and mathematics enables creativity, analytical and problem-solving skills to be developed. However, to truly realize the potential of STEAM education, it is important to combine it with the process of knowledge formation. We decided to complement it with one more aspect, namely social skills, and so STEAMS LAB was born.

Education and Innovation with Mammutico®

In the context of creating the cities of the future, the importance of education and innovation cannot be overlooked. Our introduction of a programme that combines a scientific and technical character with a strong educational aspect and social competences may be the key to creating new sets of blocks with an explicit educational character. This approach will develop children's creativity and skills while teaching them how to deal with the challenges of the future.

Constructions and Transmission Networks: Building Sustainable Cities of the Future

With Mammutico® kits, children will be able to focus on creating constructions that reflect ideas of sustainable resource management. The new Kulodrom and Perfect sets allow them to focus on building transmission networks and solving the challenges of the future.

Urban Pioneering: Settling Alien Worlds

Mammutico® also challenges children with urban pioneering. Using the blocks, children will be able to explore the idea of settling alien worlds, such as the bottom or surface of the sea, the moon or Mars. This is not only a fantastic opportunity to develop imagination, but also to understand how technology can help achieve these ambitious goals.

Experience and Safety: excavator and loader operators

The Mammutico® programme not only teaches how to construct, but also gives children the opportunity to take on the role of excavator and loader operators. This experience allows for a better understanding of how machines work and emphasizes the importance of safety at work.

Mechanisms and Transport: Learning with Blocks

Mammutico® sets allow children to learn about the principles of simple machines, creating different systems and connections, including gearboxes, motors, pistons, transmissions, as well as converting heat into work and understanding rotary and reciprocating motion, friction and pressure.

The Role of Transport in Civilisation: From the Wheel to Collective Transport

Understanding the role of transport in the development of civilisation is a key part of the STEAMS LAB programme. The Connect, Kulodrom and Perfect sets allow us to explore rolling resistance, driving stability, and the role of collective transport in the cities of the future.

Collaboration and Creativity

Collaboration and creativity play a key role in the STEAMS LAB programme. This concept encourages children to think outside the box and build teams that can create innovative solutions together.

The Mammutico® programme will combine scientific and technical aspects with education, creativity and social skills. This will ensure that children are ready for the challenges of the future, helping to create cities that are adapted to a changing world.
