A surprising connect set
Traditional playgrounds usually offer similar equipment, such as slides, merry-go-rounds and various climbing frames. All these elements are good for developing motor skills. The Connect set, which we want to present here, consists of what experts call "spare parts". They let children change their environment and create their own space for playing.
The Connect set includes a wide range of spare parts, including blocks, noodles, hexagons, cylinders and rollers. All these elements are not just spare. They have holes and shapes that make it possible to connect them with one another so as children could realise their ideas. A pair changes into a wall. A wall changes into a room. A room changes into a house. Matched elements may be connected in various ways so as the exciting play would never end.
Connect set – different than all
Connect set blocks have very unusual shapes. They are completely different from blocks with which children play every day. We noticed that huge sizes together with unusual shapes are really intriguing for small users. If we add a possibility of matching them with one another, equally surprising elements, we get an interesting, astonishing and engaging set – just perfect for youngsters!
Making a video advertising the Connect set of foam blocks, we did not follow any scenario. We just had to fill a room with blocks and let children play in it spontaneously. Children came with their parents and grandmothers. You must know that adults had great fun as well, although they are not in the photos which we want to show you :)
All constructions that were created during this session were based on children's unlimited ideas. Unique shapes did not make it easier for kids to build standard objects like houses, bases and cars. There were castles from space, animals from the moon, obstacle tracks and innovative equipment for each occasion. Just look what was created and what may be created in the future...
